Sam and Dee booked their wedding at The Kings Oak Hotel in Essex and booked me to photograph their special day. When I arrived at Sam’s house in Chingford to photograph her bridal preparation, I found two cute little flower girls who just loved having their photograph taken, no camera shyness there!
Following the bridal preparation I went on to the The Kings Oak Hotel in High Beach, Essex and I was very pleased to see the sun was out and our wonderful summer of 2013 wasn’t going to let us down, there were some clouds in the sky but they helped to keep the temperatures down, let’s face it we cannot cope with 30+ degrees very well, mid 20’s is nice.
The ceremony was held with the swimming pool as a backdrop, followed by a champagne reception on the deck overlooking the pool, a very glamorous setting for a wedding.
Following the ceremony I went with Sam and Dee for a walk outside, this helped them to relax after the emotions of the wedding ceremony and it allowed me time to take some photographs of the newly married couple, away from their guests. It is so easy to find nice backgrounds for photographs when you are in the middle of Epping forest; the views over the forest are amazing, it really is hard to believe you are so close to London.
The wedding breakfast was served in The Kings Room and guests later enjoyed an evening of music and dancing.
